• Strengthens their hands for writing with fine motor skills practice
• Explores math through a variety of manipulatives including counting, one-to-one correspondence, number recognition, basic shapes, colors and sizes, as well as patterns
• Explores math in a whole-group or small-group setting
• Experiences Learning Centers such as art, math, science, dramatic play, blocks, reading, fine motor skills and other hands-on experiences, bringing learning to life
• Gathers for group time once or twice each day to learn pledges, songs, Bible verses and for prayer
• Looks forward to romp (music and movement), computer and science special classes, and chapel, library story time and outdoor playground
